Change Power Button Text and Action In Windows 7

Power button is much useful in windows 7 as it gives the indication about the action of the power button, Changing the power button text is quite simple and useful in windows 7.
 
As you can see in the image of the power button in the image which tells you that it will hibernate, if you just click it or else if you click the arrow symbol you will see other power actions. [ as shown in the image below ]


Follow the procedure below to change the text and action of the power button.
1. Right click on power button or windows 7 taskbar and select Properties


2. Click Start Menu tab

3. Click the dropdown in front of power button action, and select the power actions from the dropdown.

4. Click Ok
